I've made some changes to the Female Celebrities section of Mega Free Wallpapers which should make browsing a more pleasant experience. With around 200 celebrities already online, loading the menu pages with all of the thumbnails was becoming a bit slow, and visitors also had to do a lot of scrolling up and down to find their favourite celebrities. So I've now changed it to pop-up a preview thumbnail as a tooltip when a link is hovered over. The only requirement for visitors is for them to ensure that they don't have javascript disabled on megafreewallpapers.com. Even if they do have javascript disabled, they will still see the links to each celebrity - they just won't get the mouse-over preview pictures.

If you are not sure what I mean, I've attached a screenshot below of what it looks like when the link to Ashley Tisdale is hovered over. You can click the screenshot to be taken to the main Female Celebrities menu page.



If you have a website where you would like the same type of feature, this is where I got the instructions from: Image with description tooltip. The other awesome thing about this method is that you can add description text that will also display on the pop-up picture.

If you have a website or affiliate program that you would like to promote without spending a lot of money, you can now place text ads on Mega Free Wallpapers & Mega Free Wallpapers Updates for less than $2 per month. For those who have visited the Mega Free Wallpapers Partner Sites link directory recently and had some problems navigating related sections, I've spent some time today fixing a few errors in the PHP coding. The related sites links weren't working properly, but they are now.

I've finally set up a reliable working link directory for Mega Free Wallpapers. Like the previous one I was using, the new one (Dew-NewPHPLinks) is a reciprocal link directory. However, unlike the old one which gave error messages if your link to Mega Free Wallpapers was anywhere other than the front page of your site, you can put your backlink on your links page or any other sub-page.

Adding your link is 100% free, so why not do it now? I get a lot of visitors to Mega Free Wallpapers each day, and quite a few do visit the links page too. You can view the links page at Mega Free Wallpapers Partners, and you can submit your link via Add A Site.

P.S. To those who were listed on the old 50000 Free Wallpapers link page, that page no longer exists. So you will need to add your link to the new Mega Free Wallpapers Partners page if you want to continue getting traffic to your site from mine.

Regular visitors to 50000 Free Wallpapers would have noticed that the site has been inaccessible for much of the past few days. The problem appears to be a firewall issue which the hosting company seems incapable of resolving (despite numerous emails back & forth with them). Thus, I have decided to move the site to another, more reliable, hosting company (which also gives me a lot more storage space for a lower price).
